National Gaming Day @ your library Game on!

Hasbro Games Have Shipped!

Posted on November 9, 2009

Great Monday morning news - we just received word that the Hasbro games destined for public libraries ("Monopoly Deal," "Pictureka!" the card game, and "Scrabble Slam") shipped last Thursday (November 5).

In case you're counting, that's 50,100 games going to 16,700 libraries, so it's going to take a few days for them to arrive across the entire country. We're sorry for the short timeframe, but we're very grateful to Hasbro for this amazing donation.

  1. Thanks to HASBRO for this new shipment of card games to the Cedartown (GA) Public Library. Our gamers will love this new version of PICTUREKA! They have certainly enjoyed the board game version that was donated for our NGD event in 2008.

  2. Thank you Hasbro! Our games arrived early this week in plenty of time for our “drop in and play a board game” event. I hope that once people try out these games, they like them so much that they want to buy copies for their home collections.

  3. Hope ours arrive on time. We’re still waiting.

  4. I never received these games for my library. :(

    • Hi, Amy –

The best thing you can do is fill out the NGD2009 feedback survey at http://bit.ly/ngd2009survey and note that you didn’t receive them on the “NGD activities” section. There’s a specific question about the Hasbro games, and you can note that you didn’t get them.

      Thanks,
      Jenny
